Vertical & Horizontal Safety Wire Systems
The patented Travsafe Restraint System is an ideal solution when the installation of a fixed barrier to prevent falls is not possible or visually unacceptable.
The system installed by Introland offers a highly refined service and has two stainless steel wire ropes, along which a traveller unit slides.
Not only can it be installed over virtually unlimited distances but it can also allow the user to work hands free while still remaining fully restrained at all times, which allows the engineer to fully focus on the task at hand, rather than worrying about the threat of falling.
The system is able to support up to three users at a time on any one system and can be been modified so that it can be installed onto standing seam type sheet roofing panels. The ropes are fitted to the building by supporting brackets spaced at appropriate distances and the whole system is maintenance free.
Stainless steel wire ropes are used for external applications whereas galvanised versions are used for internal properties. All the brackets are made from very high strength aluminium, providing reliability and durability.
As with all our equipment, the Travsafe restraint systems have been checked and adhere to the current British Standards 7883. They are also designed and manufactured in accordance with the European Standard EN 795 as well.
